Edition 1(2) is the first in a two-part series of special editions on Second Life edited by Dr Leslie Jarmon, University of Austin at Texas (in press)
Edition 1(3) the second part of the special edition on Second Life (in press)
Edition 1(4) an issue on PLEs, Web 3.0 and the Semantic Web (in press)

Forthcoming special editions are in progress on handheld and mobile learning, personal learning environments and task-based learning.
