In the past week Gerhilde and Graham were trying to install a Sloodle Presenter tool in the Business Barn. Aside from problems with ownership (which I think are worked out now), I was completely unable to see any media (.mov or YouTube urls) on an...
OK, thanks Judith.
The session with my stduents is going to be a 18.00 (UK time) on Sunday. Do you think that this will conflict with anything?
I'll go in and check again that I can do everything I need to. Can I load things up on to other scree...
Judith, thank you so much for putting this all together so diligently. As we discussed in Pisa and on several occasions since then, this second phase is for us to concentrate on functionality rather than design. Building an island like this is cer...
Dear everyone, I have sent these summarized comments to Design Container (including spelling mistakes). I suppose it will be food for discussion at our later meetings on island design. -- judith

Hi Judith,
I'm a librarian at the University of Manchester and I'm researching foreign language learning in SL and its implications for resource provision in academic libraries. I am doing this work as an Arcadia Fellow at Cambridge University Library. I would like to interview people who are actively involved in foreign language learning in SL (both students and teachers) and, preferably, who also have experience of using academic libraries as part of their foreign language learning. However, I would still like to hear from you even if you only fit into one of these two target groups. I imagine the interview won't be longer than approx. 30 min. I would be very grateful if you would be willing to participate. The interviews will take place in SL (or via Skype) over the next 3 weeks (until early June). Please send me a message and we can arrange a convenient date and time. You are very welcome to pass this message on to relevant colleagues. Many thanks!
Stefanie.
