- An interviewer,

Dear Edith, Thanks for your message. My SL workshop is a face-to-face workshop, but I shall be online most of the time, beginning with a meeting in the EUROCALL/CALICO HQ. Feel free to drop in anytime from 10.30 to 13.30 on 9 September. Have a look at Section 14.2.1 of Module 1.5 at the ICT4LT site, which I shall be using as an introduction to my workshop:

The AVALON workshop takes place in the afternoon and will be led by Luisa Panichi and Graham Stanley. You need to contact them to see if you can join their workshop.

Hi Edith,
Thank you for getting back to me and for offering to be interviewed. Unfortunately I can't conduct any more interviews as I am very limited by time and I am working on my report now. Your offer is greatly appreciated though.
Best wishes, Stefanie.

Hi Edith,
I'm a librarian at the University of Manchester and I'm researching foreign language learning in SL and its implications for resource provision in academic libraries. I am doing this work as an Arcadia Fellow at Cambridge University Library. I would like to interview people who are actively involved in foreign language learning in SL (both students and teachers) and, preferably, who also have experience of using academic libraries as part of their foreign language learning. However, I would still like to hear from you even if you only fit into one of these two target groups. I imagine the interview won't be longer than approx. 30 min. I would be very grateful if you would be willing to participate. The interviews will take place in SL (or via Skype) over the next 3 weeks (until early June). Please send me a message and we can arrange a convenient date and time. You are very welcome to pass this message on to relevant colleagues. Many thanks!

Hello Edith/Cyber. Thanks for your note and great to hear from you! Not only am I a kiwi but I also began my studies at Victoria University. I think you asked me about teaching French in SL? Only English at present, doing some project work with German business students. However, would love to get into some French teaching in SL as well. Perhaps we might meet in-world? What are you doing in SL?
