Multiplier conference of the the 'Talk with me'-project in Vienna

Last Saturday, 26th March, 2011, the 'Talk-with-me' project (www.talk-with-me.eu) invited language teachers from central European countries and language experts from all over Europe to its multiplier conference in Vienna.

Spammer in our midst

Along with many other AVALON members I received a message from "anne desmond", who joined this Ning a short while ago. It sounded suspicious, so I did a Google search for her name. The result: she is a well-known spammer. In fact the surname "desmond" appears to crop up quite often in connection with African spammers - we had a "gift desmond" trying to join the VW SIG Ning that I manage. I have blocked "anne desmond" and advise others to do the same. Whatever you do, don't befriend her or…
