SL for Aviation English

I teach English to a group of high school students who are training to become aviation maintenance technicians. I've been thinking of how I could use Second LIfe with/for them. An online teacher friend has provided me with some links to airports in SL and I have found some myself. I've also found some shops where one can buy all types of airplanes which actually fly in SL.

Shy students and the virtual world

In a speaking class I have a student who is extremely shy, doesn't say much and if she does, she gets so excited that she can hardly string a sentence together.
